What you need to wash your own driveway
If you were going to wash your own driveway you’d need a lot of things: a bag of kitty litter or a a lot of cornstarch or baking soda); a strong scrub brush; a sturdy broom designed for outdoor use; a strong soap like dish soap, laundry detergent; and a gallon or bigger bucket. The kitty litter will sop up any oil spills that may be on the driveway. The baking soda or cornstarch works too. Put a quarter inch layer over the stains then use the broom to really work it into the stains. Then let it sit for at least an hour. Then sweep it up.
Next, make a mixture of the soap and water
Dish soap works best, but if you don’t have any handy laundry soap works as well. Don’t have enough of either? A two liter bottle of Coke or Pepsi will do the trick. Take about a cup of either of the cleansers, soap or soda, and add lukewarm or hot water to the gallon bucket. Pour it on the stains and scrub away. Then use a hose with a spray nozzle to rinse. You can also use a power washer.
